flow.asia Graphic Design Internship

For more information on my experience with flow please reference my letter of recommendation from the Head of Creative, Gontran Mullier. 

During the summer of 2016 I interned at Flow Asia, a web and graphic design agency located in Beijing, China. Working at Flow was as great experience, as I was exposed to various facets of design including websites, visual identity, and branding. I was also granted the privilege of observing and participating in client meetings, which was a wonderful way to develop my skills in collaboration and communication.

Uppercut needed a brand redesign. I created a class schedule brochure and sheet template for this project.

Embassy of Switzerland, Beijing

SIGNATURE EMAIL BANNERS- EMBASSY & CONSULATE

The Swiss Embassy project involved designing email banners that reflected Swiss innovation in the areas of neuroscience, design,food safety, infrastructure engineering, and global innovation competitiveness. I researched examples of Swiss innovation, found images exemplifying the areas of innovation, created tag lines for each example, and designed a layout that would best display Swiss innovation within the specified restrictions. Shown are four of the five examples.

 

Jin Shi Healthcare

UK VISUAL IDENTITY GUIDELINE DOCUMENT

The visual identity guideline for Jin Shi Healthcare is a reference that Flow puts together for Jin Shi, should they ever need to create an official document or presentation under the Jin Shi Healthcare UK name. My job entailed setting the standards of use, size, and other specifications for all of Jin Shi’s visual identity and compiling it into a PDF for the company’s reference.

For this project, my job entailed updating the content for the new version of the presentation, adding new projects, and writing descriptions for each project’s scope, specifications, reference link, and client information.

Aupairia- Au Pair Agency

more finished logo designs. I also attending client meetings and wrote up the meeting minutes, which were then send to the client for reference.

The Aupairia logo design project was a very interesting project, in that I was able to see how a logo design project works from beginning to end. My first job for this project was doing semantic research on Aupairia as an au pair company. In other words, understanding how they defined themselves, how they set themselves apart from other companies, what their main goals are, etc. My second job included sketching different logo design concepts and working with our team’s logo and brand designer to create

Wanli Box

CASE STUDY PRESENTATION- A WECHAT INTEGRATED WEBSITE DESIGN

The Wanli Box presentation project involved me laying out the steps of purchasing a box on Tribute and describing the WeChat-integrated features of the app as well as compiling the graphics and information into one presentation for Flow’s personal use. 

 

Wellington College Project Proposal

WEBSITE DESIGN PROPOSAL DOCUMENT

The Wellington College website proposal consisted of establishing the project scope, illustrating the website’s user flow through infographic sitemaps, creating a project timeline, and setting the cost estimates for the project. My job entailed compiling this information and laying it out graphically.
